Kent County Girls Golf Classic

WIth an experienced senior at the top of the lineup and some up-and-coming young players producing solid scores, the Kenowa Hills girls’ golf team kicked off its season by teeing it up at the Kent Country Classic at Silver Lake Country Club. The Knights finished in a respectable 11th place. Pacing the Lady Knights was senior Shelby Glupker, who carded a 102 total for 18 holes. Junior Taylor Charon shot a respectable 48 on one of the nine holes to lead a solid group of juniors for Kenowa. Fellow juniors Jessie Marentette and Jenna Skislak also factored into the scoring for the squad.
